Alma Alloro

Hi, I'm Alma Alloro. I am a visual artist, designer and educator living and creating in Berlin. I grew up in Tel-Aviv in the '80s and '90s where I was swept up by the adventurous spirit of the underground music scene and realized my calling as an artist.

After first studying at the Midrasha School of Art in Tel Aviv, in 2009 I made the leap and moved to Germany, where I further honed my artistic skills and earned my MFA course in 'Art In Public Space' at Bauhaus University, Weimar. Since then I have exhibited my work in solo and group exhibitions all over the world.

I am passionate about all things craft, whether it be physical or digital, and about its role in contemporary art. I am always eager to experiment with new techniques and materials to bring my artistic visions to life and over the years I've explored a range of mediums, from traditional drawing and painting, textile art and patchwork quilting, to code and animation.
